An Afternoon in North and South Shields
Shot with an Olympus E-M10
Another grey day on my trip to North East England but North and South Shields are quite interesting to visit whatever the weather.
The ferry crossing is a fun little trip and it’s worth crossing the River Tyne to take photos along both sides of the river and from the ferry.
Just before we started the crossing from North to South Shields, this huge ship appeared. We watched it sail past the ferry as we moved across the River Tyne
As an area undergoing regeneration, North Shields has the normal mix of grunge, murals and modern developments found as the local authorities try to improve and attract people to the town.
I have no idea why but the men’s toilet was calling out to me to take a photo! Something with the colours and composition that caught my eye.
